What this call is, and what it isn't.
This call works for
- Second-opinion conversations on a current pregnancy
- IVF or fertility planning questions
- Understanding test reports (NT, NIPT, anomaly, glucose)
- Pregnancy diet, supplements, weight queries
- Post-delivery questions about your own recovery
- Breastfeeding troubleshooting beyond the free kit
- "Should I see a doctor in person?" type triage
This call is not
- An emergency line. For emergencies, go to a hospital immediately
- A diagnosis. I can guide, not diagnose without examination
- A prescription consult. I won't issue prescriptions on a 10-min video call without prior records

- Paediatric advice. I'm OB-GYN, not a paediatrician

Why a 5-slot daily cap?
I run a busy OPD and IVF practice. Capping tele-consults at 5 a day lets me give each call full attention without compromising my hospital patients. Slots open weekly and fill on a first-come, first-served basis.
Why only 10 minutes?
10 focused minutes is enough for one clear question, my read on it, and a direction. If you need a full consult with examination and prescription, please visit me at OPD. The 10-minute slot keeps the queue short and the price honest.
When are slots available?
I take a maximum of 5 calls per day, every day, between 6 PM and 8 PM IST. That's 35 slots a week, opened on a rolling 7-day window. They fill quickly, so book early. Specific dates may be closed if I'm on call at the hospital or travelling.
Can I reschedule?
Yes, once. Please reschedule at least 12 hours before the slot via the Topmate confirmation email. Same-day cancellations are non-refundable.
Will you give me a prescription?
No. A 10-minute video call without prior records and an in-person examination is not appropriate for prescriptions. I can guide you on whether you need to see a doctor in person, and what to ask.
Is the conversation confidential?
Absolutely. Anything you share is between us. Topmate uses an end-to-end-encrypted video link. I do not record calls.
I have a medical emergency, can I book?
Please don't. For any emergency (heavy bleeding, severe pain, fever, baby not moving, etc.), go to the nearest hospital immediately. This service is not for emergencies.
